Privacy policy

StayVersus does not use advertising cookies and does not ask you to create an account.

What we store

When you click a link to a booking partner we record the hotel, the partner, the page language, your country (derived from your IP address, which itself is not stored) and a shortened, non-reversible fingerprint of your browser type. We use this to count referrals and to fix broken links. Server logs are kept for up to 14 days for security.

Booking partners

Partner sites such as Agoda and Booking.com set their own cookies when you visit them, under their own privacy policies.

Maps

Maps load tiles from OpenFreeMap and the MapLibre library from jsDelivr when you scroll to a map. These services receive your IP address to deliver the files.
